For the Allied Leisure Group Social app · Last updated 6 October 2026
Who we are
Allied Leisure Group Limited (“we”, “us”) is registered in Scotland, company number SC542541, with its registered office at 1 Royal Exchange Court, 85 B/C Queen Street, Glasgow G1 3DB. We are the data controller for the information described here.
What this policy covers
This policy covers Allied Leisure Group Social, the app our staff use to publish posts to the Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts of our own venues and brands (listed on our home page). It is an internal tool: members of the public do not sign in to it or use it.
What the app does with Meta data
- It lists the Facebook Pages and Instagram business accounts our business portfolio manages, so staff can choose where a post goes.
- It publishes posts, pictures and videos that our staff write to those Pages and accounts.
- It may read performance figures for those posts (such as reach and engagement) so we can see how they did.
The app does not collect information about people who view, like, comment on or share our posts, and it does not read anyone’s personal profile, messages or friends.
What we store
- A copy of each post we publish: its text, picture or video, when it went out and the link Meta gives back.
- The names and IDs of our own Pages and Instagram accounts.
- The staff member who wrote and approved each post.
- An access key issued by Meta to our business portfolio. It is kept on our own servers and never shared.
We use this only to run our own social media. We never sell it or share it with anyone else. It is stored with our hosting provider, Microsoft Azure.
How long we keep it
We keep post records for as long as we run the venue they belong to, as a record of what we published. Disconnecting a Page or Instagram account in the app removes its link; we can delete the stored records on request.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
To delete data connected to this app, see data deletion instructions.
